October is Global Menopause Month and we are seeing major momentum in the movement to change the experience for all women! So many wonderful events were planned by our partners in NYC, so team Bossa packed up and headed east!
First up, was The New Pause Symposium from new company Stripes founded by actress Naomi Watts, and The Swell, her new online community. This event featured so many incredible speakers with messages about how to up level and change your life now. For more details on the speakers check out this podcast from our friend and midlife advocate, Jen Marples, host of "You're Not Too F**ing Old!. *Aimee Cox @aimee_mere who walked us through a powerful meditation that helped us visualize the support of our ancestors behind our backs.

Next up was the CEO Summit hosted by Stacy London of State of Menopause. This event was for the leaders of the industry to connect and share so we can continue to push the space forward and meet more women looking for solutions to midlife concerns. It was so inspiring and powerful to be in a room with female founders (and one guy!) who are doing good and making waves in the business of menopause.
On Wednesday, we had a double header. First we made a trek to Times Square to see our philanthropic partner, LetsTalkMenopause.org's amazing ad, "When It's Never Sweater Weather. Seeing menopause called out in one of the most visited places in the world was a pinch me moment!
And the week culminated with a panel discussion from our friends at Caire Beauty and Hot Flashes and Cool Topics, when they hosted The Marvelous Mrs. Menopause event on the 74th floor of the World Trade Center. Panelists included Dr. Carol Kuhle of The Mayo Clinic, Ann Garnier of Midday Health, Veronica Webb, Denise Pines of Tea Botanics, Laura Crain of Perry, Donna Klassen of Let's Talk Menopause, Stacy London, and Jennifer Walsh. Meeting all of our partners in person was such a treat and the energy in the room was palpable.
Overall, it was a FANTASTIC week! We came away with an even bigger sense of mission, and can't wait to bring you more cutting-edge education, partnerships, and exciting offers in the coming months!
