Bossa Bars Holiday Treat Recipes: A Better Choice

Bossa Pumpkin Pudding with Chocolate Crumble
 It's that time of year when temptation lurks around every counter, table, and gathering. That's why we've been busy experimenting in our "test kitchens" to bring you inspiring flavor combinations that still deliver nutrition and help you feel balanced. Making a better choice shouldn't mean sacrificing the enjoyment of a delicious treat filled with flavors of the season!
1.5 C Dairy Free Milk 
1 C Organic Canned Pumpkin
1/4 C Chia Seeds
1 TBSP Maple Syrup
1 Tsp Vanilla
1/8 Tsp Nutmeg
1/8 Tsp Cinnamon
1/8 Tsp Cardamom
-Fill Mason jar with dairy free milk (we used Califa Farms Pumpkin Spice Almond Milk Creamer)
-Add canned pumpkin, chia seeds, maple syrup, vanilla, and spices. Mix, then seal and shake well. 
-Refrigerate overnight
-Scoop pudding into a bowl
-Rough chop a quarter of Double Chocolate Brownie Bossa Bar and sprinkle over pudding
For a Bossa Parfait, make a jar of overnight oats the same way as the pudding, and refrigerate overnight. Once set, layer the oats, then Bossa crumbles, then pumpkin chia pudding, and finally more Bossa crumbles. 
The Bossa Pumpkin Bite with Espresso Sea Salt
- 1 Double Chocolate Brownie Bossa Bar
- 2 TBSP canned organic pumpkin
- 1 TBSP whipped cream or dairy free alternative
- 1/4 tsp each of cardamom
-1/4 tsp cinnamon
-1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- Pinch of fresh nutmeg
- Espresso Sea Salt (from Oaktownspice
- Cut Bossa Bar in half
- Mix canned organic pumpkin with whipped cream to create pumpkin fluff
- Add cardamom, cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice to pumpkin fluff mixture and stir
- Place a spoonful of the pumpkin fluff on each half of bar
- Grate fresh nutmeg and a sprinkle of espresso sea salt on top
